Pass-and-Play: One Phone, No Internet

This is the original format of social deduction games: one device travels around the table, each player reads their card in private, then hides it and passes it on. Nothing to install, nothing to join, and once the page has loaded it runs entirely on the device — plane rides, cabins, campsites and dead-signal basements included.

Your screen, your secret

Cards stay hidden until you tap to reveal, and hide again with one tap before you pass the device. Nobody sees your word unless you show it — the same privacy a dealt hand of cards gives you.

Works completely offline

Rounds are generated on the device itself. Turn on airplane mode mid-session and nothing changes — the word list, the dealing, and the reveal all keep working.

No accounts, no rooms, no setup

Set the player count, tap start, and the first card is dealt. A full round takes about ten minutes, and the app walks every player through what to do on their turn.

How to Run a Round

Four steps, about ten minutes, and nobody needs the rules explained twice.

Deal the cards

Choose the player count (3-20), pick word categories and difficulty, then tap start. Pass the device around: each player reveals their card privately and hides it again.

Give clues, one by one

Going around the table, each player says one word or short phrase related to the secret word. The imposter — who never saw it — improvises from the category and everyone else's clues.

Discuss and vote

After the last clue, talk for two minutes, then point at the suspect. A majority vote ends the round — or splits it into a second discussion if the table cannot agree.

Reveal and score

Flip the roles. If the table caught the imposter, they get one final guess at the word to steal the round. On hard mode the imposter even receives a fake word, so their clues sound genuine.

Pass-and-Play vs. Online Multiplayer

Same game, two ways to run it. Pick the one that fits your table tonight.
